01/21/19

Good Evening, I’ll keep this short. Namely because I’m not back at my desk yet and I hate typing on a lap top in a reclining position ): Anyway, stocks fell hard today on renewed concerns about the world economy. Of course, the market went down on the first day that we got back in but we knew it would be volatile going in. Anytime the VIX is greater than 16 you will have days like this. Its been a game of runs lately so we’ll likely see more downside out of this one. However, at least for the moment I am pleased with the price that we got back in at and think that there is a potential to make 12 percent or so when we finally do get a sustained up trend. We will see.

The days selling left us with the following results. Our TSP allotment fell -1.57%. For comparison, the Dow dropped -1.22%, the Nasdaq -1.91%, and the S&P 500 -1.42%. There was a lot of red on the screens today!

The days action left us with the following signals: C-Buy, S-Buy, I-Neutral, F-Neutral. We are currently invested at 100/S. Our allocation is now +014% on the year not including the days results. Here are the latest posted returns.

Now lets take a look at the charts. All signals are annotated with green circles. If you click on the charts they will become larger.
