Good Evening, Stocks remained flat today as they consolidate before earnings reports that begin later this week. The financial sector led the way for gainers buoyed by rising treasury yields. The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment slipped back -0.03%. For comparison, the Dow gained +0.41%, the Nasdaq +0.09% and the S&P 500 +013%.The Dow again misrepresented what was really going on as a few pf it’s weighted components made sizable gains. Boeing (BA) comes to mind with a gain of +2.76%. That’s nice for the Dow but the rest of the market was pretty flat…… As usual the S&P 500 was the best indicator of market climate….

 

Wall Street climbs with boost from healthcare, banks

The days action left us with the following signals: C-Buy, S-Buy, I-Buy, F-Sell. We are currently invested at 100/S. Our allocation is now +2.01% for the year not including the days results. Here are the latest posted results:

There’s really not much to talk about. Investors are pretty much waiting on earnings. One thing I will mention is drop in the price of bonds. As investors sell bonds a lot of that money usually ends up in stocks which is encouraging for us moving on into 2018. That’s all for tonight.
