Good Evening, The market didn’t take anytime at all after yesterdays decline before it bounced back. Continued good earnings and news that Apple is repatriating 35 Billion Dollars from offshore accounts and will be investing 350 billion into the US economy drove the market higher from the morning bell to the close. Apple also stated that this investment would create 20,000 new jobs. As far as investors were concerned things went from a “look and see” mode concerning tax reform to “OK this is actually happening so we better not get left behind”. While there may be a few days of consolidation ahead like yesterday, the bottom line is that this market is in beast mode. So feed the beast!

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment gained +0.92%. For comparison the Dow was up +1.25%, the Nasdaq +1.03%, and the S&P 500 +0.94%. Thank God for a good day!

 

Dow ends above 26,000 on earnings optimism
