Good Evening, As you already know by now the website went down last night so I was unable to post a blog even though I had the time and desired to do so ):. At least we’re good to go now!. The market continued higher on positive sentiment over a potential trade deal with China. Several comments were made today about progress being made in the negotiations and that the negotiations will continue in Washington next week. It is widely hoped that an agreement will be reached before the March deadline for additional tariffs to be put on Chinese goods. The fact that so many investors pushed the market higher late in the session and are willing to hold stocks over the weekend tells me that they are betting heavily on a trade deal with China. Of course, I don’t have to tell you what negative news on the subject would do…..

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment posted a strong gain of +1.24% as small and mid cap industrials continued to outperform. For comparison, the Dow added +1.74%, the Nasdaq +0.61%, and the S&P 500 +1.09%. Praise God for a great day!

The weeks action left us with the following signals: C-Buy, S-Buy, I-Neutral, F-Neutral. We are currently invested at 100/S. Our allocation is now +5.06% for the year not including the days results. Here are the latest posted results.

Good Afternoon, We talked last week about Jerome Powell’s speech at Jackson Hole Wyoming being a possible inflection point for the market and that’s exactly what it ended up being. The Fed chairman gave a somewhat dovish address in which he noted that  “the baseline outlook and the shifting balance of risks may warrant adjusting…
