Good Evening, There were two dynamics shaping the market today. The first of course were the trade negotiations with China that moved to Washington. Supposedly the purpose of this round of negotiations is to pave the way for higher level negotiations to come soon including Presidents Xi Jinping and Donald Trump. The specter of an agreement is keeping the bears at bay for now which is the reason that we continue to see modest albeit steady gains. The second issue was Walmart’s report which stated that Walmart had on of the best Christmas seasons in a while. This reassured market players after several recent less than stellar retail reports. Walmart’s report also showed that they are beginning to gain some ground against the death star Amazon in the area of on line sales. Amazon still owns the space but Walmart is giving it everything they’ve got which seemed to encourage investors……

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment posted a modest gain of +0.18%. For comparison, the Dow squeaked up +0.03%, the Nasdaq +0.19%, and the S&P 500 +0.15%. Hey, I’ll take it, up is up. Praise God for that!!

The days action left us with the following signals: C-Buy, S-Buy, I-Neutral, F-Neutral. We are currently invested at 100/S. Our allocation is now +6.36% on the year not including the days results. Here are the latest posted results:

Good Morning, Our charts told us we were at the bottom and the fundamentals agreed. The opportunity was so compelling that we probably jumped back in a few weeks to early, but we wanted to make darn sure we were positioned for the run that would surely come. The market dipped and many chicken little…

Good Morning, Inevitably, we will have a down day and today is it. Believe it or not the S&P 500 has gone up the past nine sessions and it’s been a long time since it’s done that. So a down day today is not so bad. The recent run has pretty much put things back…

Good Afternoon, This was a Fed Driven market. It was all about when the Fed would be reducing interest rates based on inflation and that’s still the case to a certain degree, but in all actuality everything is waiting on the outcome of the tariff situation. So given that fact I’m going to say that…
