Good Evening,

No doubt about it, the profit taking kicked in after 7 days of positive market action. I’m not surprised and actually expected it before now given the volatility that we’ve had so far in 2014. All I have to say after the last V-Shaped bounce is that we’ll have to watch the charts and see what happens…

So far, there is no real damage to the charts. Whatever the case, we will continue to trust in God as we always have. My thought has always been that this will continue to be a difficult year as the trust level in this market has bound to have eroded with it being so extended after last year’s fabulous run. Gains may not be impossible, but they will be harder to come by. It has been my thought (As I have repeated several times lately) that 2014 is unlikely to be a repeat of 2013. I’ll admit, the big V-shaped bounce caught me by surprise. However, the news today from the IMF and the Fed make me believe that we are going to have more choppy action ahead. This bounce has many traders believing that there is some sort of permanent underlying support, but a reversal like we saw today is a reminder that things can change in a hurry.  We will keep praying and reading our charts. That much will never change. God bless and have a great evening.

Good Day, It’s time to adjust our mix. The new mix is 100/G Please remember that this is the percentage of money that we have invested in each fund, not the money that is taken from your check and deposited into thrift. Those future contributions should always be 100% G Fund. That automatically protects your deposit in the event that it is…

Good Morning, All I can say about this market right now is that it’s fluid. While corporate earnings are a constant with over 70% of the reports beating estimates, the tariff situation is anything but. The Trump administration continues to discuss and enact Tariffs on foreign trade partners (and I use the term partner loosely).…

Good Morning, Perhaps I’m getting old and don’t remember things clearly, but I just can’t remember a market with this many twists and turns. Even when it was volatile it wasn’t this volatile. I think of the 90’s and even the early 2000’s for that matter. Sure, we had the dot com bubble that burst…
