Good Evening, Well the character of the market has changed yet again. My charts are showing several breakouts indicating to me that the market may be ready to move the next leg up. This positive action was spurred be yesterdays way more dovish than expected Fed statement released after the completion of their monthly policy setting meeting.  The Fed has the power to change everything and they did. The market initially sold off during yesterdays session on concerns that a more dovish Fed signaled problems with the economy. That wasn’t my take on it though. I feel like the Fed was declaring victory upon finally reaching neutral which means that the current interest rate neither increases or decreases the rate of inflation. The Feds target rate for inflation is 2 percent. That said, investors quickly changed their minds during today’s session after digesting multiple positive economic reports. They quickly started buying and fueled the market to one of it’s best days in many weeks. So if the character of the market has indeed changed then where does that leave us? After a careful review of my charts and indicators I have decided to re-enter the equity market and will put in an interfund transfer for 100/C. The C Fund put up a new buy signal and looks ready to possibly move to new highs!

The days rally left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment posted a small gain of +0.02% coming on the heals of a nice +0.43% gain yesterday. For comparison, the Dow added +0.84%, the Nasdaq +1.42%, and the S&P 500 +1.09%. Praise God for the good day!

The days action left us with the following signals: C-Buy, S-Neutral I-Buy, F-Buy. We are currently invested at 100/F but have put in an interfund transfer that will take effect at the close of business tomorrow for 100/C. Our allocation is now +6.12% on the year not including the days results. Here are the latest posted results:

Good Morning, Our charts told us we were at the bottom and the fundamentals agreed. The opportunity was so compelling that we probably jumped back in a few weeks to early, but we wanted to make darn sure we were positioned for the run that would surely come. The market dipped and many chicken little…

Good Morning, Inevitably, we will have a down day and today is it. Believe it or not the S&P 500 has gone up the past nine sessions and it’s been a long time since it’s done that. So a down day today is not so bad. The recent run has pretty much put things back…

Good Afternoon, This was a Fed Driven market. It was all about when the Fed would be reducing interest rates based on inflation and that’s still the case to a certain degree, but in all actuality everything is waiting on the outcome of the tariff situation. So given that fact I’m going to say that…
