Good Evening, The market went down today. According to the noise/news it was due to the Trump wiretap accusations and Geo political tensions in Asia (North Korea fired another missile). Is it me or does this seem like the same old news about some new Trump tweet. North Korea? Didn’t they just fire a missile last week or was it last month. They do it so often that it’s hard to tell. I guess we should take them seriously. After all even a blind squirrel gets a nut every now and then. But seriously folks. What has changed? Could the market actually be topping. Well, I guess that answer is always yes. You know, if the talking heads say yes often enough they will eventually be right…… Anyway, the market pattern up to this point has been that the market drops, then the experts start screaming that a top is forming, next nervous investors sell, and finally the bears sell. Then the market reverses leaving the investors that took defensive action frustrated and the bears in a hurry to buy back the shares the sold to cover their shorts. Oh yeah, up to now it has sucked them in every time. All that said, the market trend is still up. Sure there has been some selling, but there hasn’t been any serious technical damage yet. So far this could still be no more than healthy consolidation. The bottom line is always the same. Our charts will tell us when it is time to sell. Don’t let the noise, err, that is to say news cause you to make any regrettable decisions!

Todays trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment fell back -0.59%. For comparison, the Dow lost -0.24%, the Nasdaq -0.37%, and the S&P 500 -0.33%.

Good Morning, Another day another challenge. This market is anything other than boring and I say that not necessarily in a good way! When it comes to the market I think boring is good. That means less volatility and that means less stress. Nonetheless, we have what we have and we must deal with it.…

Good Morning, Our charts told us we were at the bottom and the fundamentals agreed. The opportunity was so compelling that we probably jumped back in a few weeks to early, but we wanted to make darn sure we were positioned for the run that would surely come. The market dipped and many chicken little…

Good Morning, Inevitably, we will have a down day and today is it. Believe it or not the S&P 500 has gone up the past nine sessions and it’s been a long time since it’s done that. So a down day today is not so bad. The recent run has pretty much put things back…
