Good Evening, Large Cap stocks lagged today after coming under pressure from concerns about the Trump tariffs. Most of the downward pressure come from stocks like Boeing and Caterpillar that utilize a great deal of aluminum and steel. Many large cap companies were also off because they do international business and could be subject to reprisals. Small caps and tech however managed to post moderate gains on the day. So breadth was not as bad as it could have been.

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment was down -0.13%. For comparison, the Dow lost -0.62%, the Nasdaq gained +0.36%, and the S&P 500 gave up -0.13%.

The days action left us with the following signals: C-Buy, S-Buy, I-Buy, F-Neutral. We are currently invested at 100/C. Our allocation is now +3.58% for the year not including the days results. Here are the latest posted results:

Now lets take a look at the charts. All signals are annotated with green circles. If you click on the charts they will become larger.
C Fund:
S Fund:
I Fund: The I Fund generated an overall buy signal today when it’s PMO moved into a positive configuration.
F Fund: The Bullish wedge is still in play. This one may be heading higher.
The large cap tariff thing effected the C Fund again today. Our Task now is to monitor it’s performance vs the S Fund on our charts. We’ll have to wait and see how this plays out. It’s day to day the way it is trading off the news. There’s no strong reason to jump ship at this time, but that could change. That’s all for tonight. Have a nice evening and may God continue to bless your trades!
God bless, Scott 8-)

Good Afternoon, We talked last week about Jerome Powell’s speech at Jackson Hole Wyoming being a possible inflection point for the market and that’s exactly what it ended up being. The Fed chairman gave a somewhat dovish address in which he noted that  “the baseline outlook and the shifting balance of risks may warrant adjusting…
