Good Evening, The market struggled higher on quadruple witching day with the S&P 500 ending the week at a new high. The weeks positive action was a result of dovish central bankers in Europe and at home. The dovishness at home led to a weaker dollar which in turn led to higher commodity prices such as oil and gold. All of this supports higher stock prices and that’s what we got. Has it bottomed? Are we going on to new records? I don’t know, but it’s smooth sailing for now.

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment added +0.264%. For comparison, the Dow gained +0.69%, the Nasdaq +0.43%, and the S&P 500 +0.44%.

S&P 500 turns positive for 2016 as recession fears fade

The weeks action left us with the following signals: C-Neutral, S-Neutral, I-Neutral, F-Buy. We issued an interfund transfer alert today and as of the close of business we are now invested at 100/C. Our allocation is now +2.31% on the year not including the days results. Here are the latest posted results:

Well we’re all in now. Our new task is to (hopefully) enjoy the ride and monitor our charts for weakness and of course for better allocations (i.e. the S and I funds).

I thank God once again for His guidance of our group. May He continue to bless your trades! Have a great weekend and I’ll see you on Monday.

 God bless, Scott 8-)

Good Morning, Another day another challenge. This market is anything other than boring and I say that not necessarily in a good way! When it comes to the market I think boring is good. That means less volatility and that means less stress. Nonetheless, we have what we have and we must deal with it.…

Good Morning, Our charts told us we were at the bottom and the fundamentals agreed. The opportunity was so compelling that we probably jumped back in a few weeks to early, but we wanted to make darn sure we were positioned for the run that would surely come. The market dipped and many chicken little…

Good Morning, Inevitably, we will have a down day and today is it. Believe it or not the S&P 500 has gone up the past nine sessions and it’s been a long time since it’s done that. So a down day today is not so bad. The recent run has pretty much put things back…
