Good Evening, It’s been a while since oil ruled the roost but it did today. If the truth be told the market was looking for a reason to stop yesterday’s bleeding and this was it. However, there was still pain in the internet sector, especially in names like Facebook and Twitter. Nevertheless, stronger oil managed to pull everything else up into the green.

Ok, Now that we got the internet thing out of the way I’m ready to make some $$$. Tomorrow is the Fed meeting. It is expected that the Fed will raise rates another quarter point. As usual, it will be the news conference that will draw most of the attention. It will be Jerome Powell’s first news conference and investors will be paying close attention to see if he remains as hawkish as before. Either way I’m not ready to bet against the Fed. The market loves to love the Fed and we usually get a boost when they meet. The news conference is normally around 2:00 PM ET. We’ll see…. That’s all for tonight. Have a great evening and may God continue to bless your trades. By the way, if you trade on the street bet the farm on SQ…..
God bless, Scott 8-)

Good Afternoon, We talked last week about Jerome Powell’s speech at Jackson Hole Wyoming being a possible inflection point for the market and that’s exactly what it ended up being. The Fed chairman gave a somewhat dovish address in which he noted that  “the baseline outlook and the shifting balance of risks may warrant adjusting…
