Good Evening, There used to be a guy on TSPTalk.com called Ebb and Flow that for a fee helped people manage their TSP accounts a lot like we do here. I mentioned it because I think the name of his system describes the action that we are having in 2016. Ebb and Flow. Well the market ebbed today again on concerns about the global economy and again on declining oil……again….

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment dropped -1.20%. For comparison, the Dow fell -0.98%, the Nasdaq -1.47%, and the S&P 500 -1.20%. It was ugly, but believe it or not, things were worse earlier in the afternoon.

Wall St. falls amid global growth worries

The days action left us with the following signals: C-Neutral, S-Neutral, I-Sell, F-Buy. We are currently invested at 100/C. Our allotment is now +2.32% on year. Here are the latest posted results:

2016 is proving to be a difficult year so far and I expect that part is just getting started. There’s no taking it easy! That’s for sure. It looks like we may have another correction on our hands. Our task is to monitor our charts and make sure that we minimize losses if there are any. Our plan is to exit to safety when and if the C Fund’s 5 EMA passes through the 50 EMA on the way down. Hopefully it won’t come to that, but you have to have and exit plan in place just in case it does. That’s all for tonight. May God continue to bless your trades! Have a great evening.

God bless, Scott 8-)

Good Morning, Another day another challenge. This market is anything other than boring and I say that not necessarily in a good way! When it comes to the market I think boring is good. That means less volatility and that means less stress. Nonetheless, we have what we have and we must deal with it.…

Good Morning, Our charts told us we were at the bottom and the fundamentals agreed. The opportunity was so compelling that we probably jumped back in a few weeks to early, but we wanted to make darn sure we were positioned for the run that would surely come. The market dipped and many chicken little…

Good Morning, Inevitably, we will have a down day and today is it. Believe it or not the S&P 500 has gone up the past nine sessions and it’s been a long time since it’s done that. So a down day today is not so bad. The recent run has pretty much put things back…
