Good Evening, They now have a new trade called the Trump trade. President Trump tweets a threat or threats. Then the market dips. Then President Trump softens the threats and the market rallies. The Trump Trade is to buy the dip. So far it’s worked to perfection…… Anyway, Today President Trump dialed back his threat to launch missiles in Syria and the market responded with a strong rally. No doubt, there was some posturing ahead of the 2nd quarter earnings season that begins tomorrow. Analysts expect quarterly profit for S&P 500 companies to rise 18.4 percent from a year ago That would be the biggest gain in seven years and should give the market a big boost!

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment gained +0.58%. For comparison, the Dow added +1.21%, the Nasdaq +1.01%, and the S&P 500 +0.83%. Praise God for another good day!

The days action left us with the following signals: C-Buy, S-Buy, I-Buy, F-Neutral. We are currently invested at 100/S. Our allocation is now -0.19% on the year not including the days results. Here are the latest posted results:

Good Afternoon, Yes, I’m a little late getting started with this today. I’ve been crazy busy dumping tech stocks and buying Industrial, Consumer discretionary, consumer staples, banks, and health care. I can’t recall this kind of vicious rotation in December in recent memory. This almost reminds me of when I was trying to figure the…

Good Day, It’s time to adjust our mix. The new mix is 100/S. Please remember that this is the percentage of money that we have invested in each fund, not the money that is taken from your check and deposited into thrift. Those future contributions should always be 100% G Fund. That automatically protects your…

Good Morning, We got a great PCE report on Friday showing relatively tame inflation.  The Commerce Department said that the core personal consumption expenditures price index for September – which was delayed due to the record-setting U.S. government shutdown – showed an annual rate of 2.8%, lower than the 2.9% Dow Jones estimate. Core PCE’s 0.2%…
