Good Evening, My what a difference a day makes or should I say a tweet. Today the President tweeted that the US and China are involved in a minor squabble and that they are still talking. Yesterday the tweet was basically China, you should have taken a deal while you had it, you done messed up now! You all know the results. Was it the worst day in 2019? It sure felt like it if it wasn’t. I thank God for guiding us to the safety of the F Fund. So today the market moved higher but gave up some ground before the final bell. Should we jump back in?? I’m not ready just yet. I haven’t really seen a notable change one way or the other and the VIX is still a little high at 18.06. I’d really like to see it fall at least to 16 before I jump back in. I’d also like to see a buy signal in the fund that I move to. I have neither of those things at this time so I think I’m just going to sit back and watch. The conditions remind me a bit of last September which is still fresh on my mind. It;s hard to forget that downturn. We have a decent profit now and I fully intend to keep it. Remember, It’s not what you make. It’s what you keep that counts!

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment posted a gain of +0.08%. For comparison, the Dow added +0.82%, the Nasdaq +1.14%, and the S&P 500 +0.80%.

The days action left us with the following signals: C-Neutral, S-Neutral, I-Neutral, F-Buy. We are currently invested at 100/F. Our allocation is now +10.21% on the year. Here are the latest posted results: For those wondering about the F Fund showing a drop. Be aware that TSP uses the price of the F Fund when they close out their books for the day. Any discrepancies usually even out in a day or so….

It’s a volatile market. Will it continue up tomorrow? Will we have yet another V shaped recovery? It may do one or both of those things. Only time and the charts will tell. As for today, I just don’t have a lot of confidence in it. I’m going to have to see better charts before I do. But as we’ve seen in the last two days….a day can make a big difference. That’s all for tonight. Have a great evening and may God continue to bless your trades.
God bless, Scott Sunglasses

Good Morning, Our charts told us we were at the bottom and the fundamentals agreed. The opportunity was so compelling that we probably jumped back in a few weeks to early, but we wanted to make darn sure we were positioned for the run that would surely come. The market dipped and many chicken little…

Good Morning, Inevitably, we will have a down day and today is it. Believe it or not the S&P 500 has gone up the past nine sessions and it’s been a long time since it’s done that. So a down day today is not so bad. The recent run has pretty much put things back…

Good Afternoon, This was a Fed Driven market. It was all about when the Fed would be reducing interest rates based on inflation and that’s still the case to a certain degree, but in all actuality everything is waiting on the outcome of the tariff situation. So given that fact I’m going to say that…
