Good Evening, The market seemed not to be overly excited about the moderate pro EU candidate Macron winning the French election over the weekend. The truth be known, the victory was probably already priced in with the polls accurately predicting it. Nevertheless, I would have thought that the market might have bumped a little higher based on the fact that the polls were wrong in both the US election and brexit votes. Some times this market beast is just hard to figure out….. The major indexes all finished the day close to even. There was a lot of talk about the lack of volatility today. James DePorre better known as the RevShark noted in his blog that so far in May the high-low range of the S&P500 is 0.91%.  Previously the narrowest high-low range for May was 2.17%, more than twice the current level, which occurred in 1992. Yep, that was during the Dot Com bubble when Bill Clinton was President. That bull market went on for what?? Ten Years???

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment fell -0.75% which was not surprising considering it’s recent run. For comparison, the Dow added +0.03%, the Nasdaq +0.03%, and the S&P 500 was flat at +0.00%.

Stocks Tread Water as Volatility Reaches Lowest Level in 24 Years

The days action left us with the following signals: C-Buy, S-Buy, I-Buy, F-Neutral. We are currently invested at 100/I. Our allotment is now +7.39% on the year. Here are the latest posted results:
