Good Evening, The market was up as trade fears subsided for the moment. One particular thing that I noticed over the past several days is that small caps are leading the action. They are significantly out performing large caps as evident by the fact that the Russell 2000 small cap index is at an all time high while the S&P 500 and the Dow are still well off theirs. Our analysis told us that would be the case several months ago. You can check out previous blogs for our rational as I’m not going to rehash that here. This is a good example of why you do your homework and do it early! Once you have finished you stick with your plan as long as the charts will let you. In our case we had several days that the C Fund out performed the S Fund. While it was tempting to make a switch those that did not are now being rewarded for their discipline….

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment had a nice day posting a gain of +0.75%. For comparison, The Dow added +0.25%, the Nasdaq +0.63%, and the S&P 500 +0.41%. Praise the Lord for blessing our group once again!

The days action left us with the following signals: C-Buy, S-Buy, I-Buy, F-Sell. We are currently invested at 100/S. Our allocation is now +2,87% on the year not including the days gains. Here are the latest posted results:

Man the charts and full speed ahead. One word of caution. As hot as small caps are they are bound to consolidate/ correct at some point. Don’t panic when that happens. Remember Panic is not a strategy! So keep your eyes on your charts and on The Lord. Have a great evening and I’ll see you tomorrow!
God bless, Scott 8-)

Good Afternoon, We talked last week about Jerome Powell’s speech at Jackson Hole Wyoming being a possible inflection point for the market and that’s exactly what it ended up being. The Fed chairman gave a somewhat dovish address in which he noted that  “the baseline outlook and the shifting balance of risks may warrant adjusting…
