Good Evening, Better late than never! I’m still reeling from three days on the road but I finally found time to sit down and produce a blog. Today was another typical summer trading day. By that I mean mostly flat with low volume. However, the past six trading days have all been positive. It is another in a long series of V shaped recoveries. So here we are again at resistance. Will the major indexes break through and move higher? More than likely they will move sideways on low volume.  A lot like today. Speaking of low volume, did you know that today was the lowest volume trading day of the year? Typical……

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment fell back -0.29%. For comparison, the Dow slipped -0.01%, the Nasdaq gained +0.08%, and the S&P 500 was barely in the green at -0.03%. All the major indexes finished in the green for the week.

More Russian news relating to the Trump campaign was released late this afternoon. We’d better keep an eye on the charts when the market opens back up on Tuesday to make sure that this doesn’t conjure up more negative feelings among the market players. That’s all for tonight. Enjoy the long weekend and remember that the market will be closed on Monday in observance of Memorial day. May God grant peace to all those who served so bravely to protect this great nation. Have a nice weekend.

God bless, Scott 8-)

Good Morning, Our charts told us we were at the bottom and the fundamentals agreed. The opportunity was so compelling that we probably jumped back in a few weeks to early, but we wanted to make darn sure we were positioned for the run that would surely come. The market dipped and many chicken little…

Good Morning, Inevitably, we will have a down day and today is it. Believe it or not the S&P 500 has gone up the past nine sessions and it’s been a long time since it’s done that. So a down day today is not so bad. The recent run has pretty much put things back…

Good Afternoon, This was a Fed Driven market. It was all about when the Fed would be reducing interest rates based on inflation and that’s still the case to a certain degree, but in all actuality everything is waiting on the outcome of the tariff situation. So given that fact I’m going to say that…
