Good Evening,  Stocks finished lower on Thursday, May 31, after the Trump administration said it would impose tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from Canada, Mexico and the European Union.  Starting Friday, June 1, the U.S. will impose tariffs of 25% on imported steel and tariffs of 10% on aluminum products, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross told reporters. The result was predictable with the market selling off. Although, it should be noted that the major indices did post their best gains for a month since January. It was the third of the three T’s that got us today…..Tariffs!

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment dropped -0.80%. For comparison, the Dow lost -1.02%, the Nasdaq -0.27%, and the S&P 500 -0.69.
