Good Evening, It was another wild swing today as the market flew up after the Fed Chairman and one of the Fed Presidents made remarks to indicate that the Fed may consider an interest rate cut if the economy warrants one. Powell said the central bank would act “as appropriate” to address trade war risks a day after St. Louis Fed chief James Bullard said a rate cut may be warranted soon. Powell said the Fed was “closely monitoring the implications” of a trade dispute that has disrupted global markets. I don’t know. They didn’t cut rates before when the President wanted them to but now they may cut them due to his tariffs. It sure sounds like an undesirable way to get a rate cut but the market is definitely pumped up about it. Of course bonds took the day off with stocks flying up but that’s to be expected. We’ll see how long this run lasts and whether or not it can be trusted. It will take more than one oversold bounce to convince me.

Reversals seem to be the theme of this market. What’s up today may well be down tomorrow. It’s better to play it safe until the smoke clears. We’ll see what all this rate slashing talk does to the charts…. That’s all for tonight. Have a great evening and may God continue to bless your trades!

Good Morning, Our charts told us we were at the bottom and the fundamentals agreed. The opportunity was so compelling that we probably jumped back in a few weeks to early, but we wanted to make darn sure we were positioned for the run that would surely come. The market dipped and many chicken little…

Good Morning, Inevitably, we will have a down day and today is it. Believe it or not the S&P 500 has gone up the past nine sessions and it’s been a long time since it’s done that. So a down day today is not so bad. The recent run has pretty much put things back…

Good Afternoon, This was a Fed Driven market. It was all about when the Fed would be reducing interest rates based on inflation and that’s still the case to a certain degree, but in all actuality everything is waiting on the outcome of the tariff situation. So given that fact I’m going to say that…
