Good Evening, The market seemed a little unsure of it’s self in the early going but found it’s footing on optimism that the US will reach an immigration deal with Mexico that would avoid tariffs going into effect on Mexican goods on June 10th. I’d love to be able to make a prediction and tell you where the market is heading but that’s really not what I do. I am a reactive trader. I react to the action that’s before me. Right now we’re one trade agreement from a rally or one tariff away from a selloff. One tweet away from a correction or one news flash away from record highs. Your guess is as good as mine. In other words it’s day to day and the only way you can even begin to see the moderate to long term picture is by studying the charts.

Our equity based charts are definitely moving in the right direction. But the question now is can they keep doing it? I certainly wouldn’t bet on it either way. A lot of indicators that I follow are on the fence. Until I see some solid proof that things are improving from several indicators I think I’ll continue to stay in the relative safety of bonds. That’s all for tonight. Have a nice evening and may God continue to bless your trades!
God bless, Scott
