Good Evening, Just a quick blog tonight. The June Fed meeting concluded today and as anticipated they left rates unchanged. The market however, was focused on the Fed Statement and Chairman’s news conference. Both seemed pleasing to the equity and fixed income markets. The Fed removed the word patient from their statement and stated that they would act appropriately to maintain the economic expansion which basically paved the way for interest rate cuts. That will be good for stocks because there will be more cheap money to flow into equities and good for bonds because yields will drop which will cause bond prices to rise…… Works for me. I still prefer bonds until I see a trade agreement with China or possibly an actual rate cut (not just speculation). Of course any move to equities would have to be supported by the charts….

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment posted a gain of +0.34%. For comparison, the Dow added +0.15%, the Nasdaq +0.42%, and the S&P 500 +0.23%. All in all is was a nice day. Praise God for that!

Any three indicators negative accompanied by both or either the 5 EMA below the 50 EMA or 200 EMA or an SCTR below 40 generate a sell signal.
