Good Evening, A report by the ADP firm pointed toward a probable unexpected uptick in jobs creation for tomorrows Department of Labor Jobs report. That was all it took to bring the market out of the red and allow the major indices to finish off the day at records.

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment gained +0.65%. For comparison, the Dow added +0.65%, the Nasdaq +0.78%, and the S&P 500 +0.76%. Praise God for another good day!

Now lets take a look at the charts. All signals are annotated with green circles. If you click on the charts they will become larger.

C Fund: The C Fund broke through it’s upper trend line to a new record. This chart is looking bullish!

S Fund: The S Fund generated an overall buy signal when the PMO and MACD moved into positive configurations.

I Fund: Price penetrated resistance at close to 66.30. This is bullish.

F Fund: Bonds fell back and so did the SCTR on this chart. That is the reason that I will still not fully endorse the buy signal for this chart. I want to see more support here and by that I mean an SCTR above 40.

No doubt about it, the S Fund was cooking today as small caps outperformed. However, it was the I Fund that had the best overall return for the month of May and that is why we were in it. I thank God for guiding our hand with that investment. Give him all the praise! Believe it or not I will be hitting the road again over the next week or so for a little R&R. That said, I’ll try to make a post or two as time and internet connections allow. Of course, I will definitely post if there are any major market moving events. As always, keep an eye on your phone apps if anything does happen should it be necessary to adjust our allocation. However, there is no reason to even think about it now! That’s all for tonight. Have a great evening and may God continue to bless your trades.

God bless, Scott 8-)

Good Day, It’s time to adjust our mix. The new mix is 100/C. Please remember that this is the percentage of money that we have invested in each fund, not the money that is taken from your check and deposited into thrift. Those future contributions should always be 100% G Fund. That automatically protects your…

Good Morning, It seems that it’s an odd thing to say, but we exit the month of October as a successful month which is not always the case as it is historically one of the worst months for the market. So now we enter the month of November which is historically one of the best…
