Good Evening, The major indices closed out the week with more records! Todays action proves once again that investors are paying very little attention to the news or rather that they are focusing more on price. I’m sure that sooner or later there will be some news that will truly move the market. However, at the current time its all about buying the dips because that’s what keeps working. Today’s jobs report was a little disappointing. I’ll let you read the details in the news link below. But I have one thought on the smaller number of jobs created. I’m sure someone somewhere already wrote this, but my theory on the main reason that the market overlooked the worse than expected jobs report is this. If the FED says that we’re nearing full employment then how can we keep creating more jobs. It’s my understanding that many employers are already having a difficult time filling the jobs that they have. Especially as more baby boomers retire. It’s only natural that the jobs numbers will decrease as we get closer to 100% employment!

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment had another nice gain of +1.10%. For comparison, the Dow added +0.29%, the Nasdaq +0.94%, and the S&P 500 +0.37%. Is there any doubt that God is blessing our group? Give Him all the praise!

U.S. job growth slows; unemployment rate drops to 4.3 percent

Good Morning, Our charts told us we were at the bottom and the fundamentals agreed. The opportunity was so compelling that we probably jumped back in a few weeks to early, but we wanted to make darn sure we were positioned for the run that would surely come. The market dipped and many chicken little…

Good Morning, Inevitably, we will have a down day and today is it. Believe it or not the S&P 500 has gone up the past nine sessions and it’s been a long time since it’s done that. So a down day today is not so bad. The recent run has pretty much put things back…

Good Afternoon, This was a Fed Driven market. It was all about when the Fed would be reducing interest rates based on inflation and that’s still the case to a certain degree, but in all actuality everything is waiting on the outcome of the tariff situation. So given that fact I’m going to say that…
