Good Evening. Just a quick post to keep you up to date. The market continues to tread water ahead of tomorrows Brexit vote. While there have been many comments about  what will happen if Britain leaves the European Union or on the other hand if the stay, about the only thing that is clear is that folks remain confused about this issue. My take on it is that even with all the  speculation on how the vote will turn out, no one really truly knows how the market will react in either instance stay or go. Honestly, about all we can do is raise our caution level, keep a close eye on the charts and if necessary react to the action as it plays out.

The days action left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment dropped -0.36%. For comparison, the Dow Lost -0.27%, the Nasdaq-0.22%, and the S&P 500 -0.17%.

That’s all for tonight. Have a nice evening and we’ll see how this vote turns out tomorrow.

God bless, Scott

Good Day, It’s time to adjust our mix. The new mix is 100/S. Those future contributions should always be 100% G Fund. That automatically protects your…

Good Morning, We got a great PCE report on Friday showing relatively tame inflation.  The Commerce Department said that the core personal consumption expenditures price index for September – which was delayed due to the record-setting U.S. government shutdown – showed an annual rate of 2.8%, lower than the 2.9% Dow Jones estimate. Core PCE’s 0.2%…
