06/28/18

Good Evening, Technology and Financials led the market back up as it recovered some of yesterdays losses. Perhaps it will continue higher but I’m really not expecting anything until China and the U.S. get together. For now I consider this no more than an oversold bounce in a short term down trend. The long term uptrend is still in place but I fully expect it to come under at least a little stress given the slow summer season and potential trade negotiations. Nonetheless, I remain long term bullish until proven otherwise.

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP posted a gain of +0.46%. For comparison, the Dow added +0.41%, the Nasdaq +0.79%, and the S&P 500 +0.62%. Praise God for a day in the green!

The days action left us with the following signals: C-Neutral, S-Neutral, I-Sell, F-Neutral. We are currently invested at 100/S. Our allocation is now +4.75% on the year not including the days results. Here are the latest posted results:

Taking into consideration the fact that this world is crazy and a market moving event can come out of the blue at any given time, I’m really not expected this market to do more than thrash around until there is a meaningful trade agreement between China and the United States. Anything else will be a surprise. Either way your routine should be the same. Check your charts daily! That’s all for tonight. Have a nice evening and may God continue to bless your trades.
God bless, Scott 8-)

Good Afternoon, We talked last week about Jerome Powell’s speech at Jackson Hole Wyoming being a possible inflection point for the market and that’s exactly what it ended up being. The Fed chairman gave a somewhat dovish address in which he noted that  “the baseline outlook and the shifting balance of risks may warrant adjusting…
