Good Evening, Today the market traded with less enthusiasm that it did yesterday as market players analyzed the agreement between Presidents Jinping and Trump and found the details lacking. At some point if not this point I expect more sideways action before a trade agreement with China or an interest rate decision by the Fed is reached. Let’s get one thing perfectly clear. I am not telling anyone to stay out of the market. Equities are clearly working now and the charts support the trade. All I am saying is that you need to understand that there is some risk as long as there is not an interest rate decease or trade agreement. If the market becomes disappointed with either issue the current gains could vaporize into thin air. I know that the market is moving up and I support you if you want to jump in. I really do! But for now I am satisfied with what I have and am willing to wait patiently for an interest rate decrease or trade agreement to buy back in. Quite simply put, I’m protected the gains I already have……It’s not what you make that’s important. It’s what you keep!

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment posted a gain of +0.18%. For comparison, the Dow added +0.26%, the Nasdaq +0.22%, and the S&P 500 +0.29%. Praise God for a day in the green!

Good Morning, Our charts told us we were at the bottom and the fundamentals agreed. The opportunity was so compelling that we probably jumped back in a few weeks to early, but we wanted to make darn sure we were positioned for the run that would surely come. The market dipped and many chicken little…

Good Morning, Inevitably, we will have a down day and today is it. Believe it or not the S&P 500 has gone up the past nine sessions and it’s been a long time since it’s done that. So a down day today is not so bad. The recent run has pretty much put things back…

Good Afternoon, This was a Fed Driven market. It was all about when the Fed would be reducing interest rates based on inflation and that’s still the case to a certain degree, but in all actuality everything is waiting on the outcome of the tariff situation. So given that fact I’m going to say that…
