Good Evening, “When you have only so much stimulus at your disposal, it pays to act quickly to lower rates at the first sign of economic distress,” New York Federal Reserve President John Williams in a speech at a research conference in New York. The market was having another flatish day until Mr. Williams made the above statement. Investors decided chances of a rate decrease increased so they bid stocks back above even in the afternoon session. There’s no use in making  things more complicated than they are. That’s what’s driving the market at this time. Although, I will add that it was reported today that the Chinese trade negotiations are having difficulty due to restrictions still in place on certain Chinese Tech companies that have been declared as security risks by the US. Those negotiations do pose some headwind for the market at this time…..

We knew the market would be choppy going into our current trade. The next market moving event will likely be the Fed rate decision on July 31st. If it goes our way and the Fed drops the rates we should make some money. That’s all for tonight. Have a nice evening and may God continue to bless your trades!

God bless, Scott Sunglasses

Good Morning, Our charts told us we were at the bottom and the fundamentals agreed. The opportunity was so compelling that we probably jumped back in a few weeks to early, but we wanted to make darn sure we were positioned for the run that would surely come. The market dipped and many chicken little…

Good Morning, Inevitably, we will have a down day and today is it. Believe it or not the S&P 500 has gone up the past nine sessions and it’s been a long time since it’s done that. So a down day today is not so bad. The recent run has pretty much put things back…

Good Afternoon, This was a Fed Driven market. It was all about when the Fed would be reducing interest rates based on inflation and that’s still the case to a certain degree, but in all actuality everything is waiting on the outcome of the tariff situation. So given that fact I’m going to say that…
