Good Evening, The financial sector led the market higher as investors decided to overlook the trade war with China. At lease until another negative headline is released. For that reason I’d describe this as a fragile advance. Investors piled into banks ahead of the beginning of earnings season which kicks off on Friday with several big banks reporting. Earnings season is again expected to be good which will give the market a boost. One word of caution though, there is a lot of talk that the forward guidance issued may not be as good as it has been in recent quarters. If this were to be the case it would definitely pull the market down. Right now we’re heading up but we’re walking on egg shells while we do it……

The days trading left us with the following results. Our TSP allotment posted at gain of +0.79%. For comparison, the Dow was up +1.31%, the Nasdaq +0.88%, and the S&P 500 +0.88%. Praise God for another good day!

The days action left us with the following signals: C-Buy, S-Buy, I-Neutral, F-Buy. We are currently invested at 100/S. Our allocation is now +7.88% on the year not including the days results. Here are  the latest posted results:

Good Afternoon, We talked last week about Jerome Powell’s speech at Jackson Hole Wyoming being a possible inflection point for the market and that’s exactly what it ended up being. The Fed chairman gave a somewhat dovish address in which he noted that  “the baseline outlook and the shifting balance of risks may warrant adjusting…
