Good Evening, I’m running short of time tonight so I’ll get right to the point. The market came in mixed with the Dow showing a gain on the day and the S&P 500 and Nasdaq finishing in the red. It was a day when a glance at the major indices would be misleading due to the fact that the major indices were propped up by the financial sector and a few stodgy large cap stocks. Overall breath was not good with declining issues outnumbered advancing ones on the NYSE by a 2.05-to-1 ratio; on the Nasdaq, a 1.55-to-1 ratio favored decliners. For the most part though, traders were apprehensive to make trades ahead of the Fed meeting which concludes on Wednesday. A little good news from Jerome Powell along with some good earnings could pick things back up. We will see…..

The days trading left us with the following signals: Our TSP allotment dropped -0.49%. For comparison the Dow gained +0.18%, the Nasdaq lost -0.26%, and the S&P 500 slipped -0.10%.
