Good Evening, Investors have a laser lock on the Fed meeting that started today. Of course the real fireworks will start tomorrow afternoon at 2 PM EDT when the Fed releases their statement. There’s no news conference scheduled so don’t expect any earth shaking announcements. Nonetheless, investors will be focused on what the Fed has to say about future rate increases and the unwinding of their massive balance sheet (bonds). What they say and how they say it is a delicate balancing act to be sure but the main message will be just what do they really think about the economy. If they are optimistic and they increase rates but not to fast and they don’t dump too many bonds at once and corprporate earnings continue to for the most part beat expectations then the current uptrend will continue. Throw in the wild card that is Capital Hill and health care and anything could happen! That said, I have out lined the a path to more gains and we serve an Awesome God. If we are faithful I believe we will continue to be blessed. So keep praying, buckle your seat belts and watch your charts! Tomorrow could be a wild ride. Definitely out of the norm for summer trading……..
