Good Evening, The market moved higher today on positive earnings sentiment. Of the 413 S&P 500 companies that have reported second-quarter results so far, 79.2 percent have topped earnings estimates, according to Thomson Reuters data. That compares with the 72 percent average for the past four quarters. While the major indices have been positive they have been propped up by a different group of stocks each day. The action in individual stocks has been extremely choppy with a lot of rotation under the surface.

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment posted a gain of +0.66%. For comparison, the Dow added +0.16%, the Nasdaq +0.61%, and the S&P 500 +0.35%. Praise God for a day in the green!
