Good Evening, The major indices all closed lower as the market slipped ahead of the Jackson Hole Economic Symposium. Basically, it was marking time as investors wait to hear what Janet Yellen and Mario Draghi have to say. Although no major announcements are expected investors will be examining their speeches closely for hints about how they might unwind economic stimulus in the U.S. and Europe. That said, the market usually loves whatever they have to say. So barring no landmines, I wouldn’t be surprised to see things jump just a little tomorrow afternoon.

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment fell back -0.23%. For comparison, the Dow dropped -0.13%, the Nasdaq -0.11% and the S&P 500 -0.21%.

 

Wall Street edges lower with Jackson Hole meeting in focus
