09/15/17

Good Evening, The market faded in the early going and then came back strong after dip buyers stepped in as they have done for so long now. Again those that panicked and sold were punished. While the rally wasn’t exactly furious the market did move in the right direction. In the end the uptrend remained intact. I guess you can put your portfolio in ice if you fear nuclear war or any of the other myriad of geopolitical situations that exist, but how long can you wait? It seems like this dude is going to fire a missile a week just because he can. I’m just as frustrated with it as you all are, but I refuse to worry about things I can’t change. That must be pretty much how the market views things as well given the way it has shrugged off the storms and missiles and terrorist attacks. Or, here’s a thought, have these things just become so common that no one even notices them anymore? Now there’s a question to ponder…..

Nothing really new and earth shattering to add here. It’s all pretty cut and dried. We need to keep watching our charts and wait for a change. Right now the trend is still up. Oh yeah, we need to keep praying as well. I we have any success we owe it all to God. That’s all for tonight. Have a great weekend!
God bless, Scott 8-)

Good Afternoon, We talked last week about Jerome Powell’s speech at Jackson Hole Wyoming being a possible inflection point for the market and that’s exactly what it ended up being.
