10/16/18

Good Evening, Praise God, it was a good day and for us. It just doesn’t get much better than this. We put all our chips on the table and shoved them to the middle. We were either going to be really right or really wrong. We went through a lot of pain to make to the first official day of earnings season betting that the earnings would spur the market to new highs. Well, so far so good!  And judging by the after hours trading it is looking like the momentum will carry through until tomorrow!! God is so good to us. We pray and He guides. He has never failed this group and I give Him 100% of the credit for any success that we have ever had.

The days rally left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment posted a much needed gain of +2.54%. For comparison, the Dow was up 2.17%, the Nasdaq +2.98%, and the S&P 500 +2.15%. What a wonderful day! All I can say is praise God! We really needed this!

The days action left us with the following signals: C-Neutral, S-Neutral, I-Sell, F-Neutral. We are currently invested at 100/S. Our allocation is now +3.76% on the year. Here are the latest posted results:

C Fund:
S Fund: The S Fund generated an overall neutral signal when Wms%R moved into a positive configuration and the SCTR moved above 40. Two or more negative signals or the 5 EMA below the 50 EMA or 200 EMA  or an SCTR below 40 generate a neutral signal. Any three indicators negative accompanied by both or either the 5 EMA below the 50 EMA or 200 EMA or an SCTR below 40 generate a sell signal. A buy signal is generated then the 5 EMA is above the 50 EMA and the 200 EMA, One or less indicators are negative, and the SCTR is higher than 40. Look at that V!!!

F Fund:
Keep praying!  Not to be premature but it looks like we’ll survive 2018. In other words, I expect us to move up into 2019. That’s all for tonight. Have a great evening and I’ll see you tomorrow.
God bless, Scott 8-)

Good Morning, I woke up this morning and looked  at the notifications on my phone and I was like what? A criminal investigation of Jerome Powell? What kind of fake Facebook post is that?? Then I saw a thing or two from a couple of the major networks and I immediately realized that this might…

Good Morning, Lets roll!! It’s a new year. We have a new and perfected system. I feel like we’re ready for anything the market can throw at us. Does that mean I think this is going to be the best year ever? No, not necessarily. I think it’s going to have it’s challenges and I…

Good Day, Well this is the last blog of 2025. Was it a better year? Well the returns were better but you had to work harder to get them as well. Overall, it was a volatile year with the Fed interest rate/ Inflation issue, tariffs,  the AI trade and the government shut down dominating the…
