10/06/17

Good Evening, Stocks finally decided to take a day off today although a late buy program did manage to bump them back up near their highs for the day. According to the media the cause was the first loss of jobs in something like seven years. However, the drop was attributed to Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. So I don’t expect any long lasting effects. By the matter of fact the clean up and repair of damage may actually spur the economy in the long run. One only has to look at the stock of General Motors which has steadily risen since hurricane Harvey on reports that over 500,000 vehicles will have to be replaced and that’s just the tip of the iceberg when you think about it  That said the market may have had a little setback today as a result of the storms but that setback will soon turn into a tailwind. Speaking of tailwinds, my charts continue to point toward a strong finish for the fourth quarter!

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment slipped -0.15%. For comparison, the Dow was flat at -0.01%, the Nasdaq managed a small gain of +0.07%, and the S&P 500 dropped -0.11%.

The weeks action left us with the following signals: C-Buy, S-Buy, I-Buy, F-Sell. We are currently invested at 100/S. Our allocation is now +15.57% on the year not including the days results. Here are the latest posted results:

Now that we have adjusted our allocation our task is to monitor the charts for #1 Any change in the character of the S Fund. and #2 To make sure that the chart for the S fund remains superior or competitive to that of the other TSP funds. That’s all for this week. Have a great weekend and may God continue to bless your trades. I’ll see you on Monday!
God bless, Scott 8-)

Good Afternoon, I’m doing this a little early this week as I have a broken water line to attend to in the morning. The big issues this week are President Trumps bid to buy Greenland, Threatened Tariffs on European Nations if they don’t back the sale of Greenland to the US, continued sector rotation out…

Good Morning, I woke up this morning and looked  at the notifications on my phone and I was like what? A criminal investigation of Jerome Powell? What kind of fake Facebook post is that?? Then I saw a thing or two from a couple of the major networks and I immediately realized that this might…
