10/06/17

Good Evening, Stocks finally decided to take a day off today although a late buy program did manage to bump them back up near their highs for the day. According to the media the cause was the first loss of jobs in something like seven years. However, the drop was attributed to Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. So I don’t expect any long lasting effects. By the matter of fact the clean up and repair of damage may actually spur the economy in the long run. One only has to look at the stock of General Motors which has steadily risen since hurricane Harvey on reports that over 500,000 vehicles will have to be replaced and that’s just the tip of the iceberg when you think about it  That said the market may have had a little setback today as a result of the storms but that setback will soon turn into a tailwind. Speaking of tailwinds, my charts continue to point toward a strong finish for the fourth quarter!

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment slipped -0.15%. For comparison, the Dow was flat at -0.01%, the Nasdaq managed a small gain of +0.07%, and the S&P 500 dropped -0.11%.

The weeks action left us with the following signals: C-Buy, S-Buy, I-Buy, F-Sell. We are currently invested at 100/S. Our allocation is now +15.57% on the year not including the days results. Here are the latest posted results:

Now that we have adjusted our allocation our task is to monitor the charts for #1 Any change in the character of the S Fund. and #2 To make sure that the chart for the S fund remains superior or competitive to that of the other TSP funds. That’s all for this week. Have a great weekend and may God continue to bless your trades. I’ll see you on Monday!
God bless, Scott 8-)

Good morning, I’ll keep this brief because I’m on the road again. This market is volatile! I don’t care what the so called experts say. I don’t care what the VIX is. I don’t care whether folks are making money or losing money. It is one of the most volatile and fluid markets I have…

Good Day, It’s time to adjust our mix. The new mix is 100/S. Please remember that this is the percentage of money that we have invested in each fund, not the money that is taken from your check and deposited into thrift. Those future contributions should always be 100% G Fund. That automatically protects your deposit in the event that it…
