10/12/16

Good Evening, The Fed minutes came out this afternoon and the market managed small gains for todays session. The current pullback has put us right smack dab in the middle of the same trading zone that we’ve been in for three months. I’m not sure exactly what to make of it. The minutes indicated that the Fed will probably enact another rate increase in December but will most likely not do so during their November meeting which comes just days before the election. Exactly what role the election will play in what direction the market will take is anyone’s guess. As I have said repeatedly, all we can do is watch our charts and pray…..

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment gained +0.08%. For comparison, the Dow was up +0.09%, the Nasdaq dropped -0.15%, and the S&P 500 added +0.11%. For the most part things were pretty flat.

Wall Street stocks close slightly higher after Fed minutes

The days action left us with the following signals: C-Neutral, S-Neutral, I-Neutral, F-Sell. We are currently invested at 100/S. Our allocation is now +0.76% on the year not including the days results. Here are the latest posted returns:
