10/26/17

Good Evening, The market had a slightly positive bias after yesterdays sell off. The major indices finished mixed with the Dow and S&P 500 slightly in the green and the Nasdaq in the red. Although the Nasdaq should be soaring tomorrow after good reports from Google and Amazon this evening. Tomorrow is an important earnings day with a gaggle of companies reporting. It should set the tone for several days to come. I’m still looking for a strong November and December. However, there are always things out there such as tax reform failing to move forward or the appointment of a New Fed Chairman that the market doesn’t like not to even mention North Korea. North Korea is always a possible disruption. I usually refer to such things as “land mines” which most of our group understand. So barring any land mines I expect to make some money in November and December. Then we’ll evaluated things again come the first of the new year.

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment gained +0.33%. For comparison, the Dow was up +0.31%, the Nasdaq dropped -0.11%, and the S&P 500 added +0.13%. Thank God for another good day.

The days action left us with the following signals: C-Neutral, S-Neutral, F-Neutral, F-Sell. We are currently invested at 100/S. Our allocation is now +14.50% on the year not including the days results. Here are the latest posted results:

Good Morning, Our charts told us we were at the bottom and the fundamentals agreed. The opportunity was so compelling that we probably jumped back in a few weeks to early, but we wanted to make darn sure we were positioned for the run that would surely come. The market dipped and many chicken little…

Good Morning, Inevitably, we will have a down day and today is it. Believe it or not the S&P 500 has gone up the past nine sessions and it’s been a long time since it’s done that. So a down day today is not so bad. The recent run has pretty much put things back…

Good Afternoon, This was a Fed Driven market. It was all about when the Fed would be reducing interest rates based on inflation and that’s still the case to a certain degree, but in all actuality everything is waiting on the outcome of the tariff situation. So given that fact I’m going to say that…
