11/26/18

Good Evening, The market bounced today on booming holiday sales and increased oil prices. I’m glad to see the bounce. However at this time we have no reason to consider it anything more than an oversold bounce during a correction. There are many damaged charts out there and it’s going to take a lot more than this to repair them. That said, although a day like today doesn’t end the current correction it could be a start. We now have new support levels at recent lows which if tested and hold could be a new base from which  uptrend can begin. It would be jumping the gun to be overly bullish at this point, but if the market is going to become healthy again then this is the way it needs to start. I will remain on the sideline until I see volatility decease on a solid and sustained move up.

The days trading left us with the following results: Our allocation remained steady in the G Fund. For comparison, the Dow added +1.46%, the Nasdaq +2.06%, and the S&P 500 +1.55%.

The days action left us with the following signals: C-Sell, S-Neutral, I-Neutral, F-Neutral. We are currently invested at 100/G. Our allocation is now -4.13% on the year not including the days results. Here are the latest posted results:

A bounce in a downtrend is not to be trusted. There will be some great days to be sure. But as long as the volatility stays as high as it is there will be some really bad days as well. That’s all for tonight. Have a nice evening and may God continue to bless your trades.
God bless, Scott 8-)

Good Morning, Our charts told us we were at the bottom and the fundamentals agreed. The opportunity was so compelling that we probably jumped back in a few weeks to early, but we wanted to make darn sure we were positioned for the run that would surely come. The market dipped and many chicken little…

Good Morning, Inevitably, we will have a down day and today is it. Believe it or not the S&P 500 has gone up the past nine sessions and it’s been a long time since it’s done that. So a down day today is not so bad. The recent run has pretty much put things back…

Good Afternoon, This was a Fed Driven market. It was all about when the Fed would be reducing interest rates based on inflation and that’s still the case to a certain degree, but in all actuality everything is waiting on the outcome of the tariff situation. So given that fact I’m going to say that…
