Good Evening, The market inched higher today as the US creeps closer to a trade deal with China. President Trump said  today that we are very close to phase 1 of a trade deal with China, that Washington is in the “final throes” of work on a deal that would defuse a 16-month trade war with Beijing. The market meanwhile remains in somewhat of a holding pattern as it waits for the deal to be inked. After all, we don’t really have a deal until we have one. If we indeed get one before the end of the year it will be “Santa Rally On”! I might add that I believe it will move the market incrementally higher over the intermediate term as well given the boost that it will provide for the world economy. After that we’ll see, but for now my charts all predict that the market is moving higher…….

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment tacked on +0.22%. For comparison, the Dow was up +0.20%, the Nasdaq +0.18%, and the S&P 500 +0.22%. Praise God for another nice day!

The days action left us with the following signals: C-Buy, S-Buy, I-Neutral, F-Neutral. We are currently invested at 100/C. Our allocation is now +13.11% not including the days results. Here are the latest posted results.

Good Afternoon, We talked last week about Jerome Powell’s speech at Jackson Hole Wyoming being a possible inflection point for the market and that’s exactly what it ended up being. The Fed chairman gave a somewhat dovish address in which he noted that  “the baseline outlook and the shifting balance of risks may warrant adjusting…
