11/30/18

Good Evening, Normally I like November both as a family time and a good trading month. This time I think I’m glad to see it go as far as trading goes. The G-20 summit began today in Brazil. The headlines say the participants are united against protectionism. So does that mean that their united against us and will they be against protectionism if they are the ones getting the short end of the stick? Just saying… There are also numerous comments about how the US and China are making progress. I certainly hope that’s true but I want to see it before I get too excited. The main focus of investors, remains on the how trade relations are going with China, how accommodating the Fed is and whats going on with oil. If all the stars line up we should get a nice rally into the new year. Either way I’ll react to what I see on my charts. I’m a little off cycle right now but that will come to an end when the charts call for our next move. Sometimes you just have to do the right thing and then be patient when your playing the long game. Also, I would be amiss not to repeat that there are a lot of things that could go wrong this weekend. I’m optimistic but I’m also happy to sit this one out and see exactly where it goes.

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment was steady in the G Fund. For comparison, the Dow was up +0.79%, the Nasdaq +0.79%, and the S&P 500 +0.82%. Praise God that we had some green on the screen.

The days action left us with the following signals: C-Neutral, S-Neutral, I-Neutral, F-Neutral. We are currently invested at 100/G. Our allocation is now -4.07% on the year. Here are the latest posted returns:

Good Morning, I woke up this morning and looked  at the notifications on my phone and I was like what? A criminal investigation of Jerome Powell? What kind of fake Facebook post is that?? Then I saw a thing or two from a couple of the major networks and I immediately realized that this might…

Good Morning, Lets roll!! It’s a new year. We have a new and perfected system. I feel like we’re ready for anything the market can throw at us. Does that mean I think this is going to be the best year ever? No, not necessarily. I think it’s going to have it’s challenges and I…

Good Day, Well this is the last blog of 2025. Was it a better year? Well the returns were better but you had to work harder to get them as well. Overall, it was a volatile year with the Fed interest rate/ Inflation issue, tariffs,  the AI trade and the government shut down dominating the…
