11/26/14

Good Evening,
Nothing has changed. The slow grind up continues. There’s not a lot of progress higher, but we’re not sliding back either. Like I have said several times lately, our plan is to stick with this trend and get everything that we can get. The big challenge to this market right now is that we have a steady slow grind up with underlying support, but not a lot of momentum. While we are indeed moving higher, we are technically extended, and the risk of a pullback continues to grow.  We must remain vigilant for signs of weakness, but not head for the exit until we need to. Both TSP and AMP posted small to moderate gains on the day.

S&P 500 ends at record high boosted by tech shares

The day’s action left us with the following signals: C-Buy, S-Buy, I-Buy, F-Buy. I am still watching the F Fund as it made another small gain today! Also, the I fund continued its recent history of out performing the C and S Funds with another solid day. If it keeps this up, I may consider increasing my exposure there. That said, we are currently invested at 50/C, 20/S, 30/I. Our allocation is now +0.28% on the year not including today’s gains!

Let’s take a look at the I fund. As our charts predicted, it continues to roll. (Chart courtesy of Stockcharts.com)
This chart is a solid buy and is now making its position even stronger as price continues to spur positive movement in the EMA’s. If it can successfully negotiate the next resistance at 64.90, it would have clear running up to 69.20. The I fund is the best game in town because it has the most room to run. Right now this chart is extremely bullish!

That’s all for tonight. We will stay the course for now. Enjoy your Thanksgiving! Hasn’t God been good to our group! Give Him the all the Praise for He is Worthy. Have a great holiday!
God bless,

Good Morning, The train left the station after Fridays jobs report. That may have well been the bottom of the current dip. It is now highly likely that the Fed will reduce rates on Sept 17th. More on that later. Right now lets focus on our trains next stop which will be Wednesdays Producer Price…
