Good Evening, The market took it’s first rest in a while yesterday. Today it seemed early on that investors would keep pushing onward and upward. However, energy started to weigh on things and ultimately paired back the days gains. Also, I heard some chatter about valuation as many think that stocks are becoming too expensive once again. Either way the current action is healthy as no market moves up without some consolidation. All that said, I can’t complain. Its been a good month for the market and for our group!

The days flat trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment made a small gain of +0.07%. For comparison, the Dow added +0.12%, the Nasdaq +0.21%, and the S&P 500 +0.13%.

I Fund: The I Fund generated an overall neutral signal as the MACD moved into a positive configuration. That gives us a neutral because two of our main four indicators, the MACD and the WMS%R, are now in positive configurations. The SCTR is still very weak at 29.3 so I wouldn’t be in a hurry to jump into this one just yet!

I expect that we’ll get another push into Christmas. I’ll be watching my charts. As a reactive trader I do not try to anticipated but rather react to the action that is before me. That’s all for tonight! Have a great evening and I’ll see you tomorrow.

God bless, Scott 8-)

Good Morning, Another day another challenge. This market is anything other than boring and I say that not necessarily in a good way! When it comes to the market I think boring is good. That means less volatility and that means less stress. Nonetheless, we have what we have and we must deal with it.…

Good Morning, Our charts told us we were at the bottom and the fundamentals agreed. The opportunity was so compelling that we probably jumped back in a few weeks to early, but we wanted to make darn sure we were positioned for the run that would surely come. The market dipped and many chicken little…

Good Morning, Inevitably, we will have a down day and today is it. Believe it or not the S&P 500 has gone up the past nine sessions and it’s been a long time since it’s done that. So a down day today is not so bad. The recent run has pretty much put things back…
