12/17/13

Good Evening,

The major indices turned in a slightly negative day, but most traders were hanging tight waiting to hear what the FOMC has to say tomorrow. Thank God that the end of the December meeting is finally going to take place so this situation can be resolved one way or the other…

Stocks barely budge. Next up: The Fed!

The day’s action left us with the following signals: C-Neutral, S-Neutral, I-Sell, F-Sell. Our allocation remains set at 63/C, 37/S. It has earned +17.09% since 03/11/13. Here are the latest posted results:

You can ignore the nice return by the I Fund as it still has a lot of ground to make up before it can catch the C and the S funds. I only mentioned that in case you were wondering why I am not invested in the I fund at this time. Nothing has really changed today. It is as it has been for the past month. Everyone is waiting for the end of tomorrow’s FED meeting. There is only so many ways that it can be said. I will not speculate any further. We will read our charts and react to whatever happens. Either way, God is still on the throne and will direct our path if we are faithful. Give Him all the praise! Have a nice evening.
See you all tomorrow.
God bless,
Scott8-)

Good Day, It’s time to adjust our mix. The new mix is 100/G Please remember that this is the percentage of money that we have invested in each fund, not the money that is taken from your check and deposited into thrift. Those future contributions should always be 100% G Fund. That automatically protects your deposit in the event that it is…

Good Morning, All I can say about this market right now is that it’s fluid. While corporate earnings are a constant with over 70% of the reports beating estimates, the tariff situation is anything but. The Trump administration continues to discuss and enact Tariffs on foreign trade partners (and I use the term partner loosely).…

Good Morning, Perhaps I’m getting old and don’t remember things clearly, but I just can’t remember a market with this many twists and turns. Even when it was volatile it wasn’t this volatile. I think of the 90’s and even the early 2000’s for that matter. Sure, we had the dot com bubble that burst…
