10/05/16

Good Evening, An improved Services sector and stronger energy prices led a rebound in the market today. The days action once again proves the old adage that the market has no memory from day to day.

Energy, bank stocks lead Wall Street higher

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment gained +0.48%. For comparison, the Dow was up +0.62%, the Nasdaq +0.50%, and the S&P 500 +0.43%. The days action left the charts with the following signals: C-Neutral, S-Buy, I-Neutral, F-Sell. We are currently invested at 100/S. Our allocation is now +1.97% on the year not including today’s gains. Here are the latest posted results:

F Fund: The F Fund generated an overall sell signal with no less than three indicators moving into negative configurations. The PMO, MACD, and Williams %R. The down turn in bonds is likely a result of increased chances of a FED rate hike in December. Another thing to note is that money may be moving out of bonds and back into stocks for a fall rally. That would be good for us with our 100/S allocation.

We’ll see what happens. The market is likely to be volatile with the election coming in just a month. I’m going to keep praying and watching my charts! Have a nice evening and may God continue to bless your trades!
God bless, Scott 8-)

Good Morning, Another day another challenge. This market is anything other than boring and I say that not necessarily in a good way! When it comes to the market I think boring is good. That means less volatility and that means less stress. Nonetheless, we have what we have and we must deal with it.…

Good Morning, Our charts told us we were at the bottom and the fundamentals agreed. The opportunity was so compelling that we probably jumped back in a few weeks to early, but we wanted to make darn sure we were positioned for the run that would surely come. The market dipped and many chicken little…

Good Morning, Inevitably, we will have a down day and today is it. Believe it or not the S&P 500 has gone up the past nine sessions and it’s been a long time since it’s done that. So a down day today is not so bad. The recent run has pretty much put things back…
