03/22/17

Good Evening, The market made a small recovery today and finished strong as traders snapped up stocks after yesterdays sell off. The main reason for the small bounce was some renewed optimism that congress will pass legislation to repeal and replace Obamacare. This optimism was buoyed slightly by a report that said that Donald Trump was indeed wiretapped. Sometimes the issues that drive the market are clear and sometimes not. This is an instance where the market driving issue is cut and dried. If the Obamacare repeal and replace legislation is passed in the house tomorrow there will be a rally, if not there will be a sell off. Where we go beyond that is pure speculation…..

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment gained +0.12%. For comparison the Dow slipped -0.03%, the Nasdaq was up +0.48%, and the S&P 500 added +0.19%.

Choppy day on Wall Street; all eyes on Trump and healthcare

Now lets take a look at the charts. All signals are annotated with green circles. If you click on the charts they will become larger.
C Fund:
S Fund:
I Fund: Still looking good. We continue to watch this one as a place to move some capital to in the near future.
F Fund: An SCTR of 18.1 gives me little confidence here. Not to mention that fact that the EMA’s remain upside down (Short term on the bottom, Long Term on the top)

Everything is riding on the Obama care vote tomorrow. We’ll keep an eye on the charts and see how they vote. Keep praying that God will guide their hand! Have a nice evening and I’ll see you tomorrow.

God bless, Scott 8-)

Good morning, I’ll keep this brief because I’m on the road again. This market is volatile! I don’t care what the so called experts say. I don’t care what the VIX is. I don’t care whether folks are making money or losing money. It is one of the most volatile and fluid markets I have…

Good Day, It’s time to adjust our mix. The new mix is 100/S. Please remember that this is the percentage of money that we have invested in each fund, not the money that is taken from your check and deposited into thrift. Those future contributions should always be 100% G Fund. That automatically protects your deposit in the event that it…
