Good Evening, The market continued to digest recent gains as it awaits 4th quarter earnings reports which start in earnest on Thursday when Citigroup and JP Morgan report. I’m still looking for a strong 4th quarter and healthy bank earnings are just the way to get it started. One thing worth mentioning about today’s action is that the volume was pitiful with only 4.4 billion shares changing hands. The recent daily average for volume is 6.1 billion shares. For those of you that may be new to the game, you can’t really take anything away from a low volume day. For instance, had the market turned significantly up or down you couldn’t really say that the trend had changed. You most often but not always see low volume days close to or during holiday seasons.

The days trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment dropped -0.35%. For comparison, the Dow slipped -0.06%, the Nasdaq -0.16%, and the S&P 500 -0.18%.

The days action left us with the following signals: C-Buy, S-Buy, I-Buy, F-Sell. We are currently invested at 100/S. Our allocation is now + 15.44% on the year not including the days results. Here are the latest posted results:

There’s nothing new to add here. When volume is low and trading is slow you just have to be patient. We’ll just wait and watch as the market digests it’s gains and hopefully gets ready for a new leg up! That’s all for tonight. Have a great evening and may God continue to bless your trades.

God bless, Scott 8-)

Good Morning, Our charts told us we were at the bottom and the fundamentals agreed. The opportunity was so compelling that we probably jumped back in a few weeks to early, but we wanted to make darn sure we were positioned for the run that would surely come. The market dipped and many chicken little…

Good Morning, Inevitably, we will have a down day and today is it. Believe it or not the S&P 500 has gone up the past nine sessions and it’s been a long time since it’s done that. So a down day today is not so bad. The recent run has pretty much put things back…

Good Afternoon, This was a Fed Driven market. It was all about when the Fed would be reducing interest rates based on inflation and that’s still the case to a certain degree, but in all actuality everything is waiting on the outcome of the tariff situation. So given that fact I’m going to say that…
