05/08/18

Good Evening, Today it was the 1st T of the three T’s (Trump, Trade, and Tariffs) that effected trading. President Trump as anticipated pulled out of Iran Nuclear deal. The market sold off and then clawed it’s way back to break even by the close. The rebound probably had a lot to do with the fact that President Trump left the door open with Iran saying that he’d like to negotiate a new deal. Classic Trump. Comes in like a bear then softens up to encourage the other side to make a deal. Like him or hate him, he’s a tough negotiator. That pretty well sums up what happened with the market today. We’ll see if we can get a rebound tomorrow.

The days trading left us with the following results: The Lord blessed us with another good day as our TSP allocation posted a gain of +0.39%. For comparison, the Dow was flat at +0.01%, the Nasdaq at +0.02%,and e S&P was slightly in he red at -0.03%.

Smaller companies that do business in the US are benefiting from current conditions as our analysis predicted they would. That makes the S Fund the place to be. Our task is simple at the moment. Watch the charts for any change in the character of the market and don’t forget to thank God for guiding our group once again. Give Him all the praise for He is worthy!! That’s all for tonight. Have a great evening and I’ll see you tomorrow.
God bless, Scott 8-)

Good Morning, Our charts told us we were at the bottom and the fundamentals agreed. The opportunity was so compelling that we probably jumped back in a few weeks to early, but we wanted to make darn sure we were positioned for the run that would surely come. The market dipped and many chicken little…

Good Morning, Inevitably, we will have a down day and today is it. Believe it or not the S&P 500 has gone up the past nine sessions and it’s been a long time since it’s done that. So a down day today is not so bad. The recent run has pretty much put things back…

Good Afternoon, This was a Fed Driven market. It was all about when the Fed would be reducing interest rates based on inflation and that’s still the case to a certain degree, but in all actuality everything is waiting on the outcome of the tariff situation. So given that fact I’m going to say that…
