Good Evening, Sector rotation continued today with investors pulling out of tech and moved into areas such as consumer staples and utilities that have been beat up recently on rate concerns. A lot of it probably was due to some nervousness ahead of the G -7 economic summit where there is concern that President Trump will have a confrontation with our allies Mexico, Canada, and the European Union.  No doubt today was a convenient time to book some profits after a nice run. The major indices really didn’t reflect the magnitude of this rotation coming in mixed on the day.

The trading left us with the following results: Our TSP allotment gave up -0.35%. For comparison, the Dow was up +0.38%, the Nasdaq dropped -0.70%, and the S&P 500 posted a slight loss of -0.07%.

The days action left us with the following signals: C-Buy, S-Buy, I-Sell, F-Neutral. We are currently invested at 100/S. Our allocation is now +6.91% on the year. Here are the latest posted results:

I was holding a lot of tech on the street today so believe me when I tell you that the indices didn’t reflect the movement in stocks. That said, I still like our allocation. Our task is remains the same. Monitor our charts for a change in the character of the action. I haven’t seen that yet.  I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to see some more selling tomorrow ahead of the summit. In the same breath, I wouldn’t be surprised to see investors pick up some of their favorite names at a discount either. It all depends on what kind of mood their in. We’ll see what tomorrow brings. That’s all for tonight. Have a nice evening and may God continue to bless your trades.
God bless, Scott 8-)

Good Morning, Our charts told us we were at the bottom and the fundamentals agreed. The opportunity was so compelling that we probably jumped back in a few weeks to early, but we wanted to make darn sure we were positioned for the run that would surely come. The market dipped and many chicken little…

Good Morning, Inevitably, we will have a down day and today is it. Believe it or not the S&P 500 has gone up the past nine sessions and it’s been a long time since it’s done that. So a down day today is not so bad. The recent run has pretty much put things back…

Good Afternoon, This was a Fed Driven market. It was all about when the Fed would be reducing interest rates based on inflation and that’s still the case to a certain degree, but in all actuality everything is waiting on the outcome of the tariff situation. So given that fact I’m going to say that…
