Markets dropped again today based on more poor earnings reports and speculation that world banks won’t provide further stimulus. That latter issue also caused a sell off in bonds with a corresponding rise in yields.

 

Stocks dip as earnings pour in, consumer discretionary lags 

 

The days action left us with the following signals: C-Neutral, S-Neutral, I-Neutral, F-Sell. We are currently invested at 100/S. Our allocation is now -0.44% on the year not including the days results. Here are the latest posted results:

F Fund: The F Fund generated and overall Sell signal today when the Williams %R moved into a negative configuration. Be advised that we are using a different set of indicators for stocks than we are for bonds. We went to a softer set of indicators for equities to prevent the many whipsaws that were occurring on their charts. Just mentioned it in case you were wondering why the C, S, and I Funds weren’t also generating sell signals.
